We were asked to take a small sketch Guy made, of Yuka the space dog, and build a complete identity telling the story of this extra fluffy astronaut and her monster squad.

We’ve teamed up with our great friend, and one of the most talented illustrators on earth, Dioz, who finalized Yuka’s sketch from where Guy left it, and created the amazing monster store staff, with each monster representing a different store department.

Out of the understanding that the space itself was going to be very colorful, with lots of books, toys & other items on shelves, and maybe with keeping in mind the elements of grief and memorial, we’ve decided to leave the brand with the minimal color palette of strictly black and off-white.

In addition to being deeply moved by this heartrending story, the project transformed into an exhilarating journey – a designer’s playground or a luna park, where every dream becomes reality – from signage to packaging to holographic stickers, designing an arcade and a soft serve ice cream machines for the very first time, and the website! go check that one by yourselves.
