Opened in 2019, OREN is a neighborhood restaurant-bar located on Shacklewell Lane in Dalston. It serves Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates from a charcoal grill and low-intervention wines from small growers.

The logo features a symbol constructed from the letters of OREN, creating an abstract artistic arch, with sunshine yellow and deep navy blue as the leading colors.

Chef Oded Oren, wanted a piece of art to hang on the center wall of the restaurant, and was looking for something that would remind him of nostalgic Tel Aviv. In our research, we discovered the works of fashion photographer Mula Eshet, one of the first and most familiar photographers in Israel, now 90 years young. We contacted him to purchase the rights to one of his photos. Diving into the archives, we eventually selected an image of a man jumping into the water of Gordon Pool, shot in 1965, with the Hilton hotel, and the old Muslim cemetery in he background.
