HUMMUSIER

HUMMUSIER

HUMMUSIER is a fresh take on hummus, inspired by the craftsmanship of patissier tradition. It introduces the first machine capable of blending and producing fresh hummus on demand. The process is simple: you place three components — the chickpea hummus base, premium tahini, and the patented spiral pipe — inside the machine. With the press of a button, the machine blends the chickpea base and tahini through the spiral pipe, and that’s it. In seconds, you have naturally fresh, preservative-free hummus.

This approach addresses a common challenge in the food industry: how to serve fresh hummus efficiently without risking quality or safety. Traditionally, making fresh hummus is time-consuming and results in a short shelf life, while mass-produced options often rely on preservatives and additives, creating a dense texture and artificial taste. Hummusier bridges this gap, making it easy for businesses to serve fresh, safe, and authentic hummus without hassle.

The brand identity balances tradition and innovation. The logo features a chickpea-inspired frame with Middle Eastern influences, cleverly echoing the shape of the machine’s front panel. The color palette presents a pleasing set of muted Scandinavian tones, in contrast with traditional hummus brands, bringing a modern, fresh vibe to the concept. Typography blends serif and sans-serif fonts, creating a visual tension between tradition and innovation.

A charming set of chickpea mascots called Chickos form the Hamula—a playful, lively group representing different key values of the product, adding personality and approachability to the brand.

Beyond the machine, the company is preparing to open its own hummus joints. We developed branding for these spaces, including takeaway packaging and interior design renders, envisioning how the brand’s look-and-feel can come to life in physical locations.
